Collection: This We Defend

This series was created in response to the chaos currently observed with the administration of the 47th president, the spineless Republican lead Legislative Branch and the complacent Judicial Branch. The lack of moral courage, the absence of integrity and the loss of compassion has eroded our nation.

In contemporary times the black flag is used to express discontent with the political system, solidarity against oppression, challenging the status quo by standing against injustice. Traditionally, the upside down flag signifies extreme distress or danger. In modern times it is widely used as a political symbol of protest or dissent, representing a belief that the nation or its core values are in serious trouble.
